Principal's Message

Rensselaer High School maintains a proud tradition of being an excellent educational institution. Expectations for our students are high, both academically and behaviorly. Students at Rensselaer High School have the opportunity to develop their academic, musical, artistic, athletic, and social potential through a variety of courses, clubs, activities, and programs. RHS has an ethnically diverse population that promotes a spirit of respect and cooperation. These attributes are achieved through our comprehensive character education program. In addition, our caring faculty and staff members are dedicated to helping each of our students enjoy successful and rewarding experiences throughout the high school years. They do this through their willingness to engage in ongoing professional development opportunities that keep them current in new and emerging instructional practices.
