We’re making history in the art room!
Currently, at the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, 11 of our students have work on exhibit. This year marks the 75th Anniversary of Norman Rockwell’s Four Freedoms Posters, a poster series based on President Franklin Roosevelt’s State of the Union speech in 1941. Students were asked to create a work of their own which honors their fundamental freedom as an adolescent. Their work will be on display through Sunday April 8th, and a closing ceremony will be held at 2:00 that same day.
Please congratulate these students if you happen to see them around school, this is a great honor!
