Members of the Rensselaer City School District Community:
In the past couple of days, we have had students identified by the county as testing positive for COVID-19. After further investigation, we can report that one of them is a student on remote instruction and the other child is not enrolled in RCSD. There is no new risk or exposure related to either of these cases.
Our health office continues to see a reduction in students with symptoms in school. We certainly appreciate the partnership with the families in the community. Parents taking the screening process seriously is a major reason that our school is able to remain open this week. With that said, if your student will be attending in person this week, don’t forget to fill out the weekly screening confirmation before sending them in on Monday.
Don’t forget to participate in the spirit events this week. Everyone can have fun with this whether you are in school or at home!
Happy AND SAFE Holidays!
