Read for Ronald McDonald House

Dear VR Parents and Families,

Our school is once again participating in the Read for Ronald McDonald House Charities program (Read for RMHC)! The program supports Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region (RMHC-CR), an organization dedicated to supporting children and families, especially those struggling with childhood illnesses and injuries. They work to keep families together and close to the care that they need.

Our VR students will once again be using their reading skills to raise funds that support the children and families helped by RMHC-CR. Reading for the program will begin on Monday, February 1st. Please encourage your students to participate in this valuable program!

We encourage all students to participate in this wonderful program and experience the power of helping others. Below is a link to the Read for RMHC informational video. Please take a look to learn more and talk with your students about this special program! The link to the Read for RMHC fundraising website is below if you would like to do online fundraising or check on our school’s donation total. For additional information or questions, please contact me at jpalmer@rcsd.k12.ny.us or Nancy Damato at ndamato@rmhcofalbany.org.
