Members of the Rensselaer City School District Community:
We are almost at the finish line for the 2021-22 school year! This year has had plenty of challenges and many reasons to celebrate. As we continue our journey to post-pandemic normalcy, the district will be holding our end-of year ceremonies in a traditional format next week. Our graduation ceremony returns to the auditorium for the first time since 2019. Please see a quick reference to the modified schedule for our final week:

The full return of field trips and experiential learning opportunities to close out the year has been awesome to see. If you didn’t see any of the pictures, check out our Facebook page. There are more smiles than you can count!
Another activity that always inspires educators is when our students organize around respectful advocacy. When students have the passion and commitment to exercise their collective voice, we certainly try to help them practice doing so. With that said, we have a group of seniors that have asked me to forward their message to our community. Kudos to these future leaders for their passion for Rensselaer and ambition to get involved!
