Welcome to VR – A place where we Show Pride every day!

Our school has the privilege of working with over 600 students spanning from prekindergarten through grade 6. The school day begins at 8:15 a.m. and ends at 3:15 p.m. The day for our prekindergarten students will end earlier at 2:30 p.m. Parents dropping off their child(ren) may do so no earlier than 8:00 a.m. PK-2 parents should drop off in front of the new playground. Grades 3-6 parents should drop off in front of the auditorium entrance. Please remain in your car until a staff member has conducted the health screening for your child. Parents will not be allowed to accompany their child into the building as a safety precaution. Dismissal for our students that walk or are picked up will begin at 2:45. Students that walk will leave at about 3:00. Students that are being picked up will wait in socially distanced spots in the hallway near the auditorium. Parents should park in the first row of the main lot. Please remain in your car and a staff member will coordinate the pick up process with you. This process will begin starting at 3:00. Please be prepared to show identification if asked. The process for our pre-kindergarten students will be similar, but it will take place in the pull-off near the new playground and at 2:30.

Students riding the buses will depart at about 3:15. Please understand that students will not be called out of class after 2:45.  If your child has an appointment please pick up your child before this time. Students being dismissed early from school should be an infrequent occurrence. If you plan on picking up your child every day then you will need to follow the process outlined above. Parents will not be able to pick up their child daily from the elementary office at the end of the day as we are not able to safely provide an area to socially distance.

Read for Ronald McDonald House

VR will be participating in the program. Meaghan Pinkowski, Program Coordinator, came to talk to the students about the program this morning. Packets will go home with the students today providing important information about the program. This is a wonderful opportunity for our school community to support the Ronald McDonald House!
