Morning Drop-Off:

Our school has the privilege of working with about 500 students spanning from pre-kindergarten through grade 5. The school day begins at 8:15 a.m. and ends at 3:15 p.m. The first 10 minutes will be a time for students to transition into school. The school day for our prekindergarten students will end earlier at 2:30 p.m. Students may be dropped off in the morning between 8:00 and 8:25. Please understand that we do not have supervision before 8:00, so it is important that you wait until that time. Students in grades 2-5 may be dropped off at the Auditorium Entrance.

Our younger students should be dropped off using the parent pull-off near the newer playground unless they have an older sibling that can assist them with getting to class. Staff members will be in each location to help ensure this is a safe and efficient process. Please only use these two drop-off locations. As a reminder, parents will not be allowed to enter the building during this process. Children arriving after 8:30 a.m. should be accompanied by a parent or guardian to the Elementary Office using our entrance doors. It is important that students arrive on time to school, so tardiness should be an infrequent occurrence.

Report Absence, Tardies, and Early Dismissal:

Dismissal:

Dismissal for our K-5 students will begin at 2:50 p.m. with the buses departing at about 3:15 p.m. Students will not be called out of class after dismissal has started. For parents who will be picking up their child(ren) daily, please park in the first row of parking spots in the first main lot near the Auditorium Entrance. These spots will be reserved for dismissal. Please stay in your car and a staff member will facilitate the process with you. You may also walk up to the Auditorium Entrance doors to sign your child out with a staff member. This process will run, 2:55-3:15.

Parents picking up their pre-kindergarten children should do so between 2:30 and 2:45. Please use the parent pull-off near the newer playground and a staff member will facilitate the process with you.

Overall, it is important that students be in school for the entire day, so please do not pick up your child early each day from school as this is disruptive to their education. Students being dismissed early from school should be an infrequent occurrence.
