Members of the Rensselaer City School District Community:
Thanks to parents and students for your patience as we merged D&G bus runs this week. I rode the new run myself on Tuesday as we were making adjustments. Based on concern and feedback, we were able to tighten the run up and get the kids to school quicker than predicted as well as get them home more quickly. The estimated times are updated on our website.
Don’t forget that there is no school on Friday, 3/15. Our staff will be participating in a regional professional development day.
There will be a solar eclipse on Monday, 4/8. Our school is planning to make this rare learning opportunity into a memorable #fRAMily event for our students, parents, and staff. We will plan end-of-day and after school activities to learn and remember the day together. Expect to see more details about the plan next week.
Please remember to follow the designated traffic pattern in our parking lot, make a complete stop at stop signs, and proceed with caution on school grounds. We all work together as #PartnersInSafety for our students.
