Please Bring Water Tomorrow
Members of the Rensselaer City School District Community:
We all know that challenges bring our community together. Let’s take a moment to thank our DPW crew that worked through the cold yesterday to fix the water main break in the freezing and wet conditions. We know they were hard at work for all of us.
Today, the school operated under the boil water advisory which meant that our drinking fountains were not useable. I’d like to thank our team for procuring, providing, and delivering water throughout the building today to make sure that no #fRAMily member went thirsty.
As we continue to operate with an abundance of caution, we are asking for your help. To ensure that students remain properly hydrated throughout the day, we kindly ask that you send your child with extra bottled drinking water tomorrow. Additionally, please be sure to bring water to any sports and other after-school activities. We will do our best to provide water, but are asking for your assistance.
We appreciate everyone that goes over and above for the good of the community. We know that our parents are #PartnersInSafety in this effort too. Stay warm and stay hydrated!
Joe
