Members of the Rensselaer City School District Community:

We are proud to present to the voters a 2025-2026 budget that requires only a 0.8% tax increase.  We have worked diligently over the past few years to stabilize the school district's finances.  With the support of the voters over the past few years, we are fiscally stable.

Included in this budget is a new Director of Curriculum and Instruction position to help us focus on improving our instruction and to design the professional development to get that done.  We are also adding an English as a New Language position to help serve our increased population of non-English speaking students.
