Dear Grades 3-6 Families,

As a reminder, the annual New York State assessments in ELA and Math begin this week. These computer-based assessments help provide information about student proficiency in grade-level standards.

To help our students feel confident and excited to show what they know, we are holding special Spirit Daysduring our first testing dates:

• Wednesday, April 22nd: Dress Your Best for Test Day!   Wear your best outfit to show you’re celebrating your ELA skills in style!
• Thursday, April 23rd: Neon/Tie-Dye Day!  Wear your brightest neon or tie-dyed clothing to show you are highlighting all of your text evidence and using your skills to show just how “bright” you are!

• Wednesday, April 22: ELA (Grades 3, 4, 5, 6)
• Thursday, April 23: ELA (Grades 3, 4, 5, 6)
• Wednesday, May 6: Math (Grades 3, 4, 5, 6)
• Thursday, May 7: Math (Grades 3, 4, 5, 6)
• Wednesday, May 13: Science (Grade 5 only)

Important Reminder:
Please ensure your child brings their Chromebook to school fully charged each day of testing.
