Two students from Rensselaer City School District were among those recognized at the New York State SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Championships, held April 22–24 at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse. The statewide competition brought together top students from across New York to showcase their technical skills and knowledge in a variety of career fields.

Congratulations to Olivia Palmer who earned a silver medal as part of a Cosmetology Quiz Bowl team, while Desmond Pickens Harrison earned a bronze medal in the Culinary Quiz Bowl!
