For the past week, Mrs. Lane’s Kindergarten classroom was filled with the sounds of a new language! Students from Mrs. Del Carmen’s 7th Grade Enrichment class took on the role of teachers, visiting our youngest learners to lead lessons in basic Spanish.

Over the course of several sessions, the 7th graders developed and taught interactive lessons, helping the Kindergarteners learn foundational vocabulary and phrases. This collaboration was a wonderful opportunity for our middle schoolers to practice leadership and communication skills while sparking a love for language in our elementary students.
