Hello RJSHS Families,

As we move toward the end of the school year, we want to remind everyone that per New York State law, cell phones must remain away during the academic day.

This expectation also applies to all internet-capable personal devices, including:
• iPads
• Nintendo Switches
• Personal laptops
• Similar electronic devices

Recently, we have seen an increase in students bringing iPads and other devices to school and attempting to use them as a workaround because they do not fit in YONDR pouches.
Please ensure these items remain at home. These devices are not permissible for student use during the school day.

If brought into the building:
• Devices will be collected and held in the Main Office during the academic day
• They will be returned to students at dismissal or families will be contacted to pick them up in more frequent cases
