Van Rensselaer Kindergarten Explores Grafton Lakes State Park
Posted Date: 05/22/26 (08:32 AM)
Yesterday, our Kindergarten students enjoyed an educational and exciting field trip to Grafton Lakes State Park. Guided by the park rangers, the students participated in hands-on environmental learning activities throughout the day.
The children learned all about local wildlife by building model beaver lodges and taking a nature hike to observe a real beaver habitat. They also visited the park's welcome center for interactive educational programs before wrapping up their day at the playground.
Thank you to the Grafton State Park staff for hosting our students, and a special thank you to our Kindergarten team—Mrs. Darby, Mrs. Deso, Ms. Fisher, Mrs. Hadden, and Mrs. Lane—for making this wonderful experience possible!
