George Krause Wins State Qualifiers; Advances to NYS Track & Field Championships

The Rensselaer City School District is thrilled to announce that senior athlete George Krause has won the Section 2 State Qualifier Meet in the pole vault event. George soared past the competition with an exceptional, personal-best tier jump of 14 feet, 6 inches.

With this victory, George has officially qualified for the New York State and Federation Championship Meet. The prestigious event will take place on June 14, 2026, at Webster Schroeder High School.

We extend our congratulations to George on this outstanding milestone, as well as to his dedicated coaching staff for their continuous guidance and support throughout this historic postseason run.
