Rensselaer CSD Celebrates Annual Senior Walk-Through and Pre-K Graduation
Today was a momentous day of celebration and tradition across the Rensselaer City School District as we honored our youngest and oldest students.
The festivities began earlier today as members of the senior class officially received their graduation caps and gowns. Shortly after, the morning kicked off with the Graduation Time Machine and Senior Walk-Through at Van Rensselaer Elementary. This moving tradition features our Pre-K graduates entering the building while our graduating High School Seniors march through the hallways alongside them, celebrated by the elementary students and faculty.
Later this afternoon, the Class of 2026 donned their newly acquired caps and gowns for the official Senior Walk-Out, marking their final time walking the halls of the Junior/Senior High School as students.
We extend our warmest congratulations to the Class of 2026 and to our moving-up Pre-K students on reaching these wonderful milestones!
