Van Rensselaer Elementary Hosts Annual Grades 3-6 Scholastic Scholars Ceremony
Today, Van Rensselaer Elementary School proudly hosted its Scholastic Scholars ceremony, recognizing the outstanding achievements of students in grades 3 through 6.
The ceremony highlighted student success across several key areas of development, academics, and school citizenship. Awards were formally presented to students who demonstrated exceptional Effort, exemplary Character, Perfect Attendance, and those who earned a well-deserved spot on the Honor Roll for the academic year.
Recognizing Years of Dedicated Community Support:In addition to celebrating student achievements, the district proudly recognized outstanding community volunteer Paula Riley. Paula has supported Van Rensselaer Elementary in countless capacities throughout this school year, as well as for many years prior. Her multi-year legacy of bringing boundless energy, a positive spirit, and a welcoming smile has left a lasting impact on our school community.
The Rensselaer City School District extends its warmest congratulations to all of today's honorees. We commend our scholars for their hard work, and we extend our deepest gratitude to Paula Riley for her long-standing, unwavering dedication to our students and staff.
