Kindergarten Classes Host Annual Father's Day Pancake Breakfast

This past Friday, students in Mrs. Lanes and Mrs. Hadden's Kindergarten classes celebrated their father figures and special guests by hosting the annual Father's Day Pancake Breakfast.

The morning began with an interactive literacy activity, as the students read the beloved children's book If You Give a Pig a Pancake to their guests. Following the reading, the children put their creativity to work by constructing "pig-faced pancakes" using a variety of fresh toppings.

Expressing Our Gratitude:The district extends its sincere appreciation to the faculty and staff members who volunteered their time to ensure the event was a success. Thank you to our team for flipping the pancakes and carefully dicing the tomatoes and bananas for the students' food art.

It was a wonderful community event that brought families together on campus to celebrate these special relationships as the school year draws to a close.
