Rensselaer City School District Celebrates Commencement Ceremony for the Class of 2026
Tonight marked a historic and celebratory milestone as the Rensselaer City School District hosted its annual Commencement Ceremony, formally honoring the graduating Class of 2026.
Families, faculty, staff, and community leaders gathered to watch our seniors walk across the stage to receive their high school diplomas. The evening's ceremony highlighted the class's exceptional academic achievements, artistic talents, athletic successes, and dedication to community service over the course of their high school careers.
Recognizing Outstanding Performances & Faculty Contributions:
The evening was highlighted by exceptional performances from our music department and faculty. The district extends its sincere thanks to Mr. McGough and the student band for providing the ceremonial instrumental music for tonight's proceedings. Additionally, a special acknowledgment goes to Mrs. Steck for delivering an engaging and memorable rap performance dedicated entirely to the graduating seniors.
Recognizing Community and Scholarship Support:
The district would also like to extend a special thank you to Becker's Farm for generously furnishing the commencement stage with their beautiful floral arrangements, providing an elegant setting for tonight's milestone. Furthermore, we express our sincere appreciation to the donors of our community's generous scholarships, whose investments reflect a deep commitment to our students' future success.
We congratulate each member of the Class of 2026 on their graduation and wish them the absolute best in their future endeavors.
