In Mrs. Alonzo’s classes, students celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month by selecting Latin American countries to research.  Classmates shared information about their culture-- building cultural awareness through student choice and authentic learning.

In Mrs. Kerr’s classes, students designed and presented their own weather-intercepting vehicles, using creativity, critical thinking, and communication to solve real world weather challenges.
